this range from 1.97 area to 1.9300 areas can be considerd as a consolidation area.
the above information is only a personal view, and is not a traed advice

DislikedMonarch,
Why don't you observe when the market absolutely violates all technical rules, then observe when the market absolutely violates all fundamentals, think about those specific situations for 2 years, then come back and laugh at me for making a consistent 5% per week?
It's not entirely technical or entirely fundamental. I use a combinative approach that yields returns. I don't really care what i do as long as it yields returns.

DislikedUsually the news keeps part of my attention, but lately the news, and the movements have not worked in agreement, according to my own opinion.
I would think that this movement upwards has lost most of its strength for now, the CPI could be the remedy needed to slow this upward movement to a downward correction, or propel it upwards past the 1.9700 mark.
Not a real clear answer, but I trade 95% of my trades with my analysis and projections, the news just gives it a boost to help.Ignored

DislikedMaybe everyone here might want to watch what happens with their own technical system before and after news. Instead of trying to news scalp, if you have a good technical system, it may send you in the right direction well before the news, before the spreads get crazy, and everyone gets slipped, etc. The time to trade the news is when the news leak shows up, not when the news does. That's usually 15-30 minutes before the release.
Does anyone really think that these releases are secret until the moment they are released? It's not a Cold-War nuclear submarine, it's month-to-month unemployment or some shit like that. There are people that know this shit ahead of time, and they will show you that they do by throwing large amounts of money in the direction of the news up to an hour before the news comes out.Ignored
