Dislikedlet me explain myself further. i am not a coder and do not want to touch it. i dont care if it makes sense to you or if you think its so easy. if it was so easy, everyone would be making one. and when i read your post it sounds like you think i stupid or something. be kind here.Ignored
DislikedI've been running my own version of mgrid on a live account for a while and not had any problem with it.
The key is not to get greedy and keep you lot sizes small in comparison to the equity.
I start at the weekly open and look for 4 sequence closes before shutting it down regardless of wether that happens on a wednesday or thursday. I never leave any trades open going into the weekend.
I am running it on GU and EY. For GU i am using 0.04 lot size and for EY i am using 0.01. My starting equity was $6k. On average i am netting $4-500 per week....Ignored
DislikedThis is Ozzies update with Reliableorder function.
I have added the input to increase the final increment size.Ignored
DislikedThe last 2 weeks have given fewer closes than usual and required a bit more manual intervention to takeprofits. Usually the market is busy in the beggining of the week and lazy at the end, this last couple of weeks hasn't seen much action until Fridays.
This is the first weekend i've gone into with a trade open.
Note the long flat period on the equity curve.

The minimum setting should be 1. Anything less then that and the sequence will close in loss.
It is calculated on a percentage basis. So a setting of 1.2 gives you 20% extra pips of 1 increment size. ie if your increment is 30 pips, then setting of 1.2 will make the final increment = 36 pips instead of 30. A setting of 2 will make the final increment 60 pips.Ignored
