DislikedSteve, I am sending you the entire group. via email. All finished. Still thinking about the sub window problem.
Edit, you have a straggler Object that the coordinates are out of bounds in the indicator for the range group, on the EA.. I'll take a closer look.Ignored
DislikedSteve,
I have been researching a way to increase the likely hood of a trade setup but still arriving at a 99.99% success rate.
OB.Upper.TF = 70
OB.Lower.TF = 90
OS.Upper.TF = 30
OS.Lower.TF = 10
Example:
if M15 < OS.Lower.TF and H1 < OS.Upper.TF then SELL XXXJPY
if M15 > OB.Lower.TF and H1 > OB.Upper.TF then BUY XXXJPY
In trading terms > 70 & < 30 are still considered OB & OS in higher TF's
Let me know your thoughts.Ignored
DislikedHehe. I have to write robots because I am a rubbish manual trader.Ignored
DislikedThat was a great party we had last night. For some of you, it was daytime so you were able to keep the party going.
My machine did not take any trades during the Tokyo closing session; it downloaded some Windows updates that installed themselves then rebooted the machine. This is my coding computer, so I haven't told it not to do that.
Just to let you all know, the faulty Sell trades you all got this morning resulted from some faulty logic coded into the robot. I have fixed this and emulated a Buy session and a Sell session and everything...Ignored
DislikedI am wondering if we shouldnt just drop CADJPY from this trading methodology.
Its one of the purest ways to express an opinion on oil in the currency market as Canada is the primary beneficiary of high oil prices in the industrialized world while Japan is the greatest victim.
Anyone have an opinion on this ?Ignored

DislikedSo you are saying that because of the extremes between Japan and Canada, it throws the basket out of balance?Ignored
DislikedSo would you just increase your overall lot size to compensate for the removal of one of the group longs or shorts? Or would you decrease the multiple of 120? Or is it not that big of a deal?
BTW IBFX does not have CADJPY, so when I want to tradeit, I have ot create it synthetically.Ignored
DislikedWe should drop it from the indicator and leave the Lot size and 120 the same.
Should probably create a new indicator based on KG RS_GROUP_JPY V1.2 and call it JPY Index Strength or something....Ignored
DislikedWell it would be very easy to drop it from the indicator, I can adjust the averaging automatically so the indicator values would remain in the same parameters. This is not my inidcator though, so I would need Steve's ok, because I am not sure how he intended it for me to modify. I would be happy to do it though if it is ok. Take about 5 minutes to do.Ignored
DislikedHow about I just make the change and only post the ex4. That way I would not be distributing his source code without permission. Give me just a minute. Do you want it original or inverted like the chart i posted above?Ignored
