As soon as I put the robot onto a non-GJ chart I discovered an error in the coding.

DislikedNeither. They are based on the difference between the high-low, open-close of the previous candle.
Now the basics appear to be in place, I am going to pop this on a demo and add a few more charts for some of the other correlated pairs in post 1.

DislikedAnyone having positive results with the EA? Mine made 8 trades with 7 losers?!Ignored
DislikedI have abandoned it. It appears to be a sure-fire loser. Middleastern might have made it work as it is his trading strategy.

Congratulations on making this happen. I will pop it on a demo again myself and pinch your settings.
Good luck when you go live.
DislikedSo basically the 'correlation code' system that they try to sell for way too much money
I'd be interested in having a way to verify if it works or not also, without dishing out a couple grand.

DislikedHi Steve,
You were complaining last week about not having much to code these days, so if youre in the mood, take a look at the attached pdf. Very simple strategy (not mine though), indicator-free, should be easy to code in very little time. It is impossible to check it visually (I tried, it is a pain in the bottom so I left it), so a robot is needed to check its legs.

DislikedThanks for introducing this form of correlation trading. I noticed in the example in the pdf that you did not enter short for EURUSD. How would you recover if on entry on the GBPUSD the market started heading down for both pairs? Also do you use any Stop Loss?Ignored
DislikedThe EA seemed not to work well on M15. It seems to have quite nice legs on H1 though.
After a month of forward testing on gbpjpy only, it rendered a ROI of 20%, with a max DD of 5%. 11 winners against 3 losers.
And this by risking only 2.5% in each individual trade.
This EA seldom trades, sometimes waiting 2 days for the proper setup, and then just takes it no more than an hour to close, thus minimising exposure to unforeseeable market events.
I have not tested other pairs, such as eurjpy (monitoring eurusd and usdjpy). Will do from Monday....Ignored
DislikedAny further live forward test results?
Am thrilled to see your dedication and results! Like to go live with the EA.

DislikedIts been a little slow, very few trades since last week (only two trades last week, two trades so far in the current one). It is in the green though, but too few trades to get any meaningful conclusion about its live performance.
Will update live results after a decent number of trades, promise...Ignored
