By no means have I stated that what you post is/was an illusion. This has to be clear. I personally just battle to understand the significance. Price forms the MA's. These moving averages can only "compress" if price consolidates. So - price has to compress first, before the MA's can form your pattern. These MA's can only "release" after price has taken off. They do not cause price to take off.
It is a fact that price will explode/run and then consolidate/rest. Then run. Then rest....Ignored

As i've said before, i couldnt understand a bl**dy word when i first came into the room...with your help i'm starting to understand why i keep reverting to using emas.
People (fundies,techies, even the person in the street) drive the market...emas are an instant visual of where people have been. Your compression analyses using emas are wonderfully predictive of the point in time that the market sentiment will change.
To my way of thinking i see each of your emas as representative...Ignored
