Excellent system, only on real volume better, than on teak!

DislikedJust so everyone here understand about volume.
Forex has no single clearing house, so there is no way to account for all volume. Only the brokerages get true volume reports 2 days later! There is no volume in Forex. Every book by every author teaching Forex repeats this over and over.
Hence basing an entire trading style on information which does not exist live in forex is detrimental to your account!
I am rather perplexed how starter of this thread actually using MQ4 indi which only shows brokers ticks and nothing more.

Dislikedbut i will add that vsa has given me what no other indicator does out there.
(even comparing market delta/ofa/market/value profile offerings.rangebar/renkobar/kajibar/heikenashi.oscillators.various pivots.candlestick lessons by steve nison.etc etc etc)
and no other macro indicator out there(having been a graduate in economics, past experience as a research analyst, etc)
vsa - it suits my style perfectly.Ignored
DislikedFact is "volume" in Forex is your brokerage ticks. This could be very misleading.
If it works for you is fine but the principal is not there.
I'll give you an example during Asian say 5-7pm volume is low however volume indi will have huge spikes indicating massive buy and sell where in reality its the opposite.Ignored

DislikedWhat I am saying is obvious. Volume as in true Volume does not exist in forex since its not centralized hence informotion it shows is only small extremely small % of overall market based upon how much business your broker does.
Your chart may show great deal of activity but understand that its limited to your brokerage exposure to market.
Understanding how market makers create killing zones spikes up and down to crash seating ducks is far more important then giving tick "volume" importance.
Promise of this thread is misleading.Ignored
DislikedThat's not what I meant, and there's no need for the snide personal comments either.
You believe tick volume is worthless, we get it. Just because you believe that doesn't make it true. I've seen tons of correlation between volume in forex and price movements, else I wouldn't be interested in applying VSA & Wyckoff techniques to it.Ignored
