Quoting JasonGuillenDislikedMerlin, I tried to look at the calendar for the last time he spoke, but couldn't confirm how many points moved. Couldn't make the calendar large enough.
I'm going to assume that it moved 200 pips every time he speaks, and leverage myself at 400/1.Ignored
Quoting CityBoundDislikedWould you guys trade EUR for ECB announcements or would you go for cable for the higher volatility?
Just wondering.

Quoting BurgerKingDislikedCough, cough...
Are you referring to GBPUSD, or EURGBP?
Because ECB is an EUR news - it has nothing to do with GBPUSD. Though there is a strong correlation between GBPUSD and EURUSD, still ECB is not a GBP news.Ignored

Quoting ahmedjilaniDislikedi think the markets are already priced in for this kinda news, i dont think there will be alot movement, maybe 50-70 pips. i see the markets ranging and not moving like they do normally on non-farm payrolls if today they move around 100 pips.
i would personally trade g/u, as u rightly say its more volatile and i dont see alota room for e/u to move anyways, the market is ranging and its already priced in for a weak dollar.
these are just my views
