Dislikedyou mean get it to start trading earlier? later, what time do you think is bestIgnored
DislikedHallo Zee!
If you follow your step 1.) to 3.) you are very well set up. The EA will then start taking trades according to its internal rules that match the rules of the Supernova System(R) described in the first post. QQE needs to cross and find confirmation in the MOM going into the right direction and above the center-line etc.!
If you move through the charts, the EA will adapt its actions to the current situation on that particular chart. I.e. on the 15M chart you are about to get a signal - you switch to the 5M chart and here the signal is already fully developed - INSTANTLY the EA will enter into a position as reflected on the 5M chart. (This can be a bit of a shock sometimes. Solution: Build confirmationcharts that carry the template and you can switch through timeframes there, while the EA stays on 30M, 1H or whatever timeframe you like best.)
Some real bug we encountered so far: If you are manually closing a trade or if you restart the EA after it was taken off for some time, the EA (at least the original Supernova and the v1-1 from uconn) enters or re-enters into a trade that may be hours old. The EA does not care about the time that the signal was initially submitted, it simply places trades as it finds a signal has taken place "sometime".
Apart from that, if you leave the or any of the EA(s) on a 1H chart and let it run from dot-to-dot you will make heaps of pips with sheer beauty of clearity.
As for the variables: They are already in the template. We discuss to lower the DMI to (7) and possibly employ the CCI (14) as an exit helper.

DislikedHi!
I do not know why all you keep posting files, like your EA that when dowloaded to MT4 it is grey. Does "grey" EA's work?
THXIgnored
DislikedHi Marc,
My Supernova is "grey" too but it works. I'm sure some knowledgable person will explain the difference between grayed out and colored experts.Ignored
DislikedA grey expert means you have only the EX4 file which is the file metatrader reads to use the expert, a "colored" expert means you have both the EX4 and the MQL. The MQL is the file you can edit, you then "compile" it so it creates another EX4 so the program can read it.
sorry i'm no programmer thats the best I can explain it hehIgnored
DislikedI got introduced to fx by purchasing an ebook about "making a zillion dollars in fx" As you can tell it didn't work for me lol but I'm glad I bought it if only to bring my attention to this incredible business![]()

DislikedWell it's an excellent explanation -- however, I do have the code LOLhmmmm
nb for Marc, as cryten mentioned:
*.ex4 = executable file (like an ordinary "exe" file)
*.mq4 = Meta Quotes Language (MQL) file (editable code)Ignored
Dislikederm there are 2 seperate EA's in this thread. One EX4 coded by Skyline and one MQL coded by the guy I used who seems to have vanished off this planet..Ignored
DislikedThe one I've got running is the one by your programmer, and that's the one for which you provided the code, right? Lemme see if I actually saved it in the RIGHT directory.Ignored
